What TWAFA is
TWAFA (Transactional Workflow Architecture For Applications)
represents a new paradigm, opening a new class of software
applications, displacing traditional modular approaches
and making real true procedural systems.
Workflow and Business Process Management Systems are acquiring
relevance in all organizations. Why? ‘cause organizations
know that to be competitive all resources have to be well
managed and integrated in a true agile operation. Even
if they did huge inversions in software, hardware and
other technologies, is hard to reach flexibility and the
eficiency today required.
Looking how this technologies have evolved, Workflow systems
have grown from simply automatize activity and task routing
between persons to coordinate business process using all
resources. TWAFA is an architecture able to contain all
data that conform a knowledge base – certain basic
data, functional and business rules- and, according to
them, present, manage, and route the information we are
used to find in most common ERP/MRP/RRHH application software.
The architecture provides not only all media required
(databases, and functions, inquiries, reports) to cover
all traditional functions that present modular systems
but also coverage can be expanded over any other area,
assembling procedures, norms, forms and functions in a
armonic and controlled manner.
Upon this architecture is Netpack built. But is an independent
architecture that allows engineering any application to
run on any -vertical or not- market.!
Another way to present TWAFA is showing it as a tool for
persons with knowledge of organization, methods and business;
who wants to define a whole application system thru the
definition of forms and business process with a minimum
of training. These instructions will be interpreted and
present to the end user a full application that will follow
the defined procedures -using the same procedure as help
text- , and route intelligently the fulfilled forms to
the appropriate persons doing the required functions on
his way -functions like stock accumulation, updating current
accounts, preparing related documents, sending mails,
etc.).
As result, you will get the conversion of all norms and
procedures in a active software (Real Workflow!) that
is going to manage the information based in those procedures
to/for:

ERP/MRP/RRHH system would do-.

who received the same document, when, etc. (Traceability)

available transaction classes.

As
